BIM Manager- Site

At Dornanwe are currently recruiting for BIM Manager based on site in london to work on allocated projects.

• Lead Project BIM Coordinators and manage workload of Revit Technicians.
• Coordinate with Dornan Engineers, Design Teams, and 3rd-party contractors.
• Work with the BIM Manager to plan project programmes and BIM delivery strategies.
• Chair weekly coordination meetings and workshops, producing minutes and tracking actions.
• Implement and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Project BIM Implementation Plan (BIP).
• Support the UK BIM Manager in developing company BIM standards.

• Strong understanding of the Project BIM Manager role.
• Undrerstanding of RIBA Stage 5 and 6 for MEP
• Effective planning and programming skills.
• Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent IT skills:
  Revit, Navisworks, Excel, Fabrication MEP.
• Good commercial awareness and knowledge of HSE systems.
• Awareness of team strengths and development needs.
• Getting the information on time, having to chase and challenge the internal and external team for it to hit deliverables
• Leading on coordination, having to sit with contractor, consultant, architects, structural team… and getting them on board to support us with the re coordination of areas
• leading meetings with other contractors, architects
• leading a team and reporting on progress
