Junior Casual Outerwear Designer - Womenswear

A leading fashion supplier is looking for a Womenswear Outerwear Designer to join their team, focusing on casual outerwear for a leading high street supermarket brand. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior designer to learn a new area and contribute to seasonal collections that reflect current trends and meet commercial market demands.

Key Responsibilities

Create and develop original outerwear designs, from initial concept to detailed sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs.
Collaborate with Far East factories.
Fabric and trim selection to ensure both visual appeal and functional quality.
Work closely with design team, account managers and product development teams to finalise collections and present to clients.
Produce tech packs with precise specifications to guide production.
Take part in fit sessions, making necessary design adjustments to meet fit and quality standards.

Requirements

A degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline.
1-2 years' design experience.
CAD experience.
AI design experience would be a plus.
Background working with high street fashion retailers.
