MADE Careers is working with a leading London architecture practice looking to appoint a Project Architect / Senior Architect to join its growing team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Architect looking for greater project ownership, taking a leading role across design, technical development and delivery while working closely with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
With a strong pipeline of UK projects and continued growth across the studio, they’re looking for someone who can confidently run projects and is keen to continue progressing within the practice.
The RoleYou’ll take responsibility for projects through the technical and delivery stages, while remaining closely involved in the design and coordination of schemes.
Working alongside the senior team, you’ll lead project teams, manage consultants and act as a key point of contact for clients and contractors.
Responsibilities- Run projects and take ownership across RIBA Stages 3 - 5
- Lead the production and coordination of technical information
- Coordinate consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
- Work directly with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders
- Produce and oversee high-quality project information in Revit
- Lead and support junior members of the architectural team
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with UK Building Regulations
- Work closely with the senior team across design and project delivery
- ARB registered Architect
- 3+ years’ post Part III experience within a UK architecture practice
- Strong project-running and delivery experience
- Good technical knowledge across RIBA Stages 3 - 5
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Experience coordinating consultants and wider project teams
- Confident working directly with clients
- Strong design ability alongside technical capability
Sector experience is open, with backgrounds across residential, mixed-use, commercial, workplace, hospitality, education or refurbishment all relevant.
Experience with the Building Safety Act, Higher Risk Buildings or Gateway processes would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
