FFE Designer​/Furniture Project Coordinator

Typical responsibilities

• Understand the brief - what furniture the client needs, quantities, budget, style, finishes and deadlines.
• Furniture specification - prepare schedules showing items, manufacturers, product codes, colours, fabrics, dimensions and quantities.
• Quotations & procurement - obtain supplier quotes, compare costs, negotiate where appropriate and raise/track purchase orders.
• Supplier management - liaise with furniture manufacturers and dealers to confirm lead times, production, finishes and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with the design team - make sure furniture fits the layouts and design intent, and resolve issues such as dimensions or clashes.
• Coordinate with the construction/project team - ensure furniture delivery and installation works with the wider fit-out programme.
• Track the project - maintain spreadsheets, budgets, order trackers and delivery schedules.
