Role & Responsibilities Develop technical design packages from RIBA Stage 4 through to project completion
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure integrated delivery
Manage design integration between new-build and refurbishment project elements
Oversee detailing, material specifications, and construction sequencing across projects
Monitor construction progress and support site delivery alongside project team members
Maintain quality and accuracy in technical documentation and contractor communication
Support resolution of technical issues during construction and delivery stages
Collaborate closely with senior team members to ensure design intent is achieved
Skills & Experience RequiredARB registered architect with minimum five years post Part II experience in the UKStrong understanding of UK Building Regulations and National Described Space Standards Experience across all RIBA stages with focus on technical stages three to five Proficiency in AutoCAD with working knowledge of Revit or similar software tools
Strong coordination skills working with consultants and multidisciplinary teams
Clear communication skills for effective collaboration with contractors and stakeholders
Portfolio demonstrating high quality residential or mixed-use project experience
Interest in Principal Designer role with willingness to undertake further training
Salary & Benefits Salary between 45,000 and 50,000 depending on experience and capability level
Financial support and training towards Principal Designer role if desired
Twenty one days annual leave plus bank holidays with increased entitlement over time Individual training plan and structured development support within the practice
