Part II Architectural Assistant - High End Residential South London | Permanent | Design-Led Residential Studio | AutoCAD | Salary: £30,000 - 39,000 (Depending on Experience)

I am working with a studio seeking to appoint a talented Part II Architectural Assistant as its workload continues to grow. They are a well-established, design-focused London architecture and interiors studio.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, highly respected practice known for delivering refined, beautifully detailed private residential projects. The studio’s portfolio centres on high-end homes - from carefully crafted refurbishments and extensions to sensitive re-imagining of period properties. Their work is defined by elegant spatial planning, material richness and a meticulous approach to detail. They pride themselves on combining strong creative vision with technical excellence and a genuinely collaborative client experience.

You will be working across all RIBA work stages, supporting projects from early concept design through to detailed technical packages and construction. The team is hands-on and collaborative, so you’ll gain exposure to:

• Concept development and planning submissions
• Detailed drawing packages and technical coordination
• Material research and specification
• Site visits and client liaison

This is a role for someone who enjoys being involved in the full architectural process and thrives in a studio where design quality is paramount.

I’m keen to speak with Part II Architectural Assistants who have:

• RIBA Part II qualification with a minimum of 2 years’ post-Part II UK experience
• Experience across all RIBA work stages
• A strong background in high-end residential projects
• Excellent design sensibility and a clear understanding of materials and detailing
• Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
• Experience preparing technical drawing packages for construction
• Confidence presenting information to planners, clients and consultants
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch Up
• Fluent written and spoken English
• The right to live and work in the UK
