An independent East London studio with a reputation for retail and fashion environments that are properly resolved. Small by design, ambitious by nature. They pick quality over volume, and they work closely with a roster of trend-led fashion brands to build stores that feel as considered as the product on the rails.

There's no hierarchy to work around. People are trusted to take ownership, bring ideas, and shape the studio as well as the projects. Less process than a big agency, a great deal more influence. With the business heading into a growth phase, this is a chance to become one of the people who defines what comes next.

This is a senior seat. You'll lead fashion retail and brand environment projects from first sketch to opening day: concept, space planning, materiality, detailing, and the technical information that makes the whole thing buildable. You'll work directly with studio leadership on creative direction, and you'll be the one holding the quality line as a project moves through every stage.

You'll also be a senior voice in a small team, setting the standard for the work around you. It's hands‑on throughout: the designer who draws it is the designer who sees it through.

• Leading retail and fashion environment concepts from first ideas through to delivery
• Space planning, materiality, and detailing: solving the spatial and material problems that make a store work as well as it looks
• Producing design packages, technical information, and buildable detail, so ideas make it off the screen and onto the shop floor
• Working directly with studio leadership on creative development and project direction
• Running projects day to day, coordinating activity across every stage, and holding quality from concept to completion
• Owning relationships with clients, suppliers, and everyone else involved in getting a store open
• Mentoring and guiding colleagues while staying fully hands‑on with your own work

• You have significant experience delivering fashion retail or branded environment projects, ideally for trend‑led, culturally switched‑on brands
• You've taken projects from concept to completion and carried the responsibility for them
• Your Sketch Up is strong, and Vectorworks would be a real advantage
• You have an interior designer's instincts: a genuine feel for space, materials, and detailing, not just the ability to model it
• You can read creative direction and develop it into fully resolved design solutions
• You're confident with clients and contractors, and comfortable being the person they call
• You watch what's happening in fashion, streetwear, and retail culture, and you know how that translates into physical space
• You'd rather be in a collaborative, entrepreneurial studio where you're trusted to get on with it than in a process
• You want to bring others on while staying close to the work yourself
