  • Create high-quality, well-executed footwear designs and presentations.
  • Conduct research and build visual direction around specific briefs and projects.
  • Work closely with senior designers, responding to and implementing creative feedback.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members throughout the design process.
  • Support projects from initial concept through development and production.
  • Contribute ideas, creativity and energy across multiple projects and brands.

Are you a creative designer with a genuine passion for footwear? The Foot soldiers is looking for a talented Footwear Design Intern to join our 20-person design team in Shoreditch, London.

We partner with a diverse portfolio of clients across the U.S., Europe and Asia, working across performance, lifestyle and technical footwear. Our team has extensive experience delivering successful projects for globally recognised brands including New Balance, KEEN, HOKA and Canada Goose.

About You:

  • A creative thinker with a genuine passion for footwear and product design.
  • Strong visual communication and design skills.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
    , with an interest in or experience using emerging AI design tools such as Vizcom and Nano Banana
    .
  • Ambitious, proactive and determined to develop as a designer.
  • Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
  • Able to take feedback constructively and translate it into stronger design work.
  • Detail-oriented, with high standards for the quality of your work.
  • A collaborative team player who is keen to learn.
