NBBJLondonisseekinga Senior Technical Architectwithtechnical architecturaldeliveryexperienceintheUKto lead delivery of projects at NBBJ London and supportthehealthcare and science teams across all projects in an Architectural Delivery and Principal Designer role.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead technical delivery of projects
- Act as Principal Designer – Building Regulations and CDM - on projects
- Participate in Firmwide Delivery strategy and initiatives
- Review UK regulatory and CDMcompliance
- Workcloselywiththe Project team s torealisedesignexcellencein:
- Technical strategy and detailing
- Document Quality Control / Quality Assurance Protocols
- Specification Process
- CDMProtocols
- Support and participate in office CPD events Skillsand Qualifications(requireunlessotherwisenoted):
- Significant and demonstrabletechnicalarchitecturaldeliveryexperienceintheUK
- Qualified Principal Designer
- Experience in negotiating contract Scope and Deliverables
- Experience in writing and coordinating construction specifications
- Experienceworkingoncomplexprojectssuchas Healthcare and Science &Researchinallphasesof design
- Strongexperienceexecutingtechnicaldetailingpackagesandleadingteamsinthisprocessfromdesign concept onwards
- StrongknowledgeofbuildingregulationsandUK/European standards
- Experience working collaboratively with a diverse consultant team
- Excellent communication,interpersonalandleadershipskills,effectiveclientandconsultantrelationship skillsandabilitytocollaborativelyworkwithdiverseteamsofdesigners
- Provenabilitytoleadinmulti-packagedeliveryenvironmentwithtighttimeframes
- Affinity with working in open, collaborative environments
- Interest in mentoring staff of alllevels
- Proficiency in Revit and NBS Create
- Some international experience aplus
- Design and Build experience, building long term relationships with Contractor and Clients
