We’re seeking an Architect / Architectural Designer to join Steve Ritchie Partnership, an experienced, client focussed international team of architects based in East London (near Aldgate East Tube Station).
Known for its practical and thoughtful approach to design, SRP deliver innovative, enduring and commercially viable buildings across a range of sectors, including:
Commercial, Retail, Master planning, Mixed Use, Residential, Office, & Industrial.
This new opening presents an exciting opportunity for an Architect / Architectural Designer with a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience and excellent problem- solving skills keen to both run their own projects and support other team members.
Expect to be an active member of the team supporting SRP’s most important clients and contributing to the development of SRP. You’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative practice, working on fast moving projects primarily at planning and delivery stages.
Key Requirements:- You are an Architect / Architectural Designer with a minimum of 5 years industry experience in the UK;
- Experience of playing an active role in live projects and coordinating the work of different disciplines;
- A comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations and compliance issues;
- Experience in at least two sectors (preferably including commercial / retail & multi-unit residential);
- First class communication skills (fluent English - written & spoken);
- The ability to visualise, illustrate and present ideas clearly;
- Good design, technical and practical problem‑solving skills;
- Willingness to learn and take on responsibility;
- Excellent Revit, AutoCAD and Sketchup skills;
- Experience across all RIBA stages including design, technical and delivery
