Our OPS (Older People’s Services) team is growing, and we would like you to be a part of our fantastic workforce. We are advertising for (1‑2 WTE) 6‑12 month fixed‑term Trust Doctor (ST1‑2 equivalent) post to cover the older people’s assessment unit (OPAU), the virtual ward, surgical liaison and older people’s wards in general as soon as possible.

These posts will sit within the department of Older People’s Services and will include General Medicine on‑call work. Successful applicants will be encouraged to enrol with the staff bank.

Responsibilities include covering the OPAU, virtual ward, surgical liaison and older people’s wards; supervising junior staff, participating in audits, research and teaching.

This post presents excellent opportunities to develop clinical skills and has a high level of consultant supervision. The successful applicant will be able to develop individualized educational goals within the specialty of your choice, and may gain audit, research or teaching experience.
