South West London – Dermatology Department, Croydon University Hospital.

An exciting fixed‑term dermatology consultant opportunity. You will work in a dedicated dermatology department within a large teaching hospital and may also carry out off‑site work where appropriate. The role offers flexibility with full‑time, part‑time or job‑share options and the possibility of a permanent consultant position after the fixed term.

• General dermatology patient care
• Urgent skin cancer clinics (USC)
• Minor operations clinics
• Paediatric dermatology clinics
• Ward work on a shared rota
• Opportunities to develop special‑interest clinics (e.g., Mohs surgery, joint complex surgical clinic, plastics, photodermatology, paediatric dermatology, systemic/biologic clinics)
• Potential involvement in research, teaching and managerial roles
• Support for Mohs laboratory services, if applicable

• Consultant Dermatologist on the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology
• Strong team‑working skills

Part‑time, full‑time or job‑share. Fixed‑term contract with consideration for a permanent consultant role thereafter.

The Dermatology Department includes a core team of 5 consultants (pediatric, Mohs surgery, complex surgery, vulval, photodermatology) and supporting staff such as a plastic surgeon, specialty doctors, a registrar, a prescribing pharmacist, an advanced nurse practitioner and nurse‑led clinics (patch test, phototherapy, teledermatology, biopsy lists). Collaborative links exist with the maxillofacial team and local hospitals.
