Post from 5 August 2026 to 3 August 2027. This 6 month post is a fellowship for anaesthetists with at least three years of anaesthetic training.

An additional tier of clinical fellows is recruited to manage the increase in acuity and out of hours work at the Royal London Hospital. The out of hours work focuses on supporting the increasing numbers and complexity of cases on the labour ward, the new mechanical thrombectomy service, and the busy emergency theatre at RLH.

The post also offers the opportunity for a clinical fellow to obtain competencies in one of a number of surgical specialties undertaken at RLH (e.g. neuro, complex obstetrics, perioperative medicine and high risk preassessment, regional anaesthesia, trauma anaesthesia, major abdominal surgery) and to develop their CV by undertaking QI projects or research. Each successful candidate will have a dedicated educational supervisor to support their career goals.
