The successful candidates will join a rapidly expanding Respiratory Department. We are seeking two outstanding clinicians to complement the current respiratory service, with opportunities to contribute to subspecialty development aligned to service need.
Consultant Respiratory Physician (Airways / General Respiratory Focus) Clinical Responsibilities- Specialist interest in airways disease (e.g. asthma, COPD, complex airways)
- Delivery of inpatient respiratory care on Lamb Ward and other wards, including NIV and inpatient consultations
- Development of outpatient services aligned to airways disease and general respiratory medicine
- Contribution to respiratory service development, audit, and quality improvement
- Participation in the general medical on-call rota
- Management of a broad respiratory caseload including COPD, ILD, TB, lung cancer, and sleep disorders, as appropriate
