Whipps Cross University Hospital, part of the Barts Health NHS Trust Group is looking for a less than full time (0.8 WTE) Consultant Physician in Acute and General Medicine in a substantive post. You will be joining a department that currently has 10 Consultant Acute Physicians with Specialty Interest.

The post offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and to develop new models of working and services that support all patients attending the hospital and within the local community. You must hold full registration with the General Medical Council and be on the Specialist Registrar or within 6 months of obtaining CCT. Informal discussions and visits are encouraged and, should you have a specialty interest, advanced discussion as to whether this would fit within the clinical framework of Whipps Cross University Hospital is strongly recommended

• Full GMC Registration with license to practice
• Entry on the GMC Specialist register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of date of advisory appointments committee via one of the following:
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) (the proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of the interview)
• Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR)
• European Community Rights
• Evidence of participation in research (peer reviewed publications etc.)

• Higher specialist training in Speciality Interest and G(I)
  Medicine or Acute Medicine
• Broad experience in Speciality and G(I)
  M/Acute Medicine
