Job Summary
One-year fixed term posts based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT). We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative Clinical Teaching Fellows with a keen interest in education delivery for a one-year out-of-training programme post in undergraduate medical education. This is an opportunity to develop and improve skills as an educator and in educational/project work. Fellows are encouraged to join priority project work, with opportunities to lead patient safety, student support, and immersive technology education projects.
Protected timetabled sessions allow Fellows to pursue specialist clinical interests. Our collaboration with Imperial College provides networking and development opportunities, including support for postgraduate certificates in education and engagement in educational research, publications, and national conference presentations.

Main duties of the jobAs demand for high-quality medical student placements grows, the Fellowship cohort has expanded to meet placement requirements and to maintain educational support for learners. Fellows are often the first point of contact for medical students on placement and play a pivotal role in education delivery, student assessments, and student welfare. Responsibilities include delivering medical education sessions in safe learning environments, coordinating student timetables, and participating in student exams.

These posts are full-time roles open to trainees from any of the above specialties who, by August 2026, will have post foundation year 2 (or equivalent) clinical experience. These posts will commence in August 2026.
