An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Consultant Psychiatrist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the South West London area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
This is one of the country's leading mental health treatment centres. They provide fast access to high‑quality treatment for lots of different conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders.
Key RequirementsTo be considered for this position you must hold a Full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans alongside the multidisciplinary team.
- Lead ward rounds, MDT meetings, and oversee complex clinical cases, including risk management.
- Support patients and families with treatment planning, relapse prevention, and recovery.
- Provide supervision to junior staff and contribute to service quality, CQC compliance, and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with site leadership to enhance service delivery and patient experience.
- Collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team; experience managing complex cases of eating disorders in an inpatient adolescent setting.
- Strong clinical leadership and risk management expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a can‑do attitude at all times.
The successful Consultant Psychiatrist will receive an excellent salary of GBP 180,000 pro‑rata. This exciting position is a permanent part‑time role working 15 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
