Job summary

Custom House Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking team for 6 sessions per week
. This is an opportunity to work within a well-established practice serving a diverse population in East London.

The role includes clinical assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, reviewing test results and correspondence, and making appropriate referrals. The post holder will participate in the Duty GP rota on a rotational basis, supporting urgent same-day demand and providing clinical advice to colleagues when required.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Clinical Pharmacists, Care Coordinators and Social Prescribers, the successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective and accessible healthcare. The role also includes supporting QOF, Enhanced Services, clinical governance, safeguarding and quality improvement activities whilst maintaining professional standards through CPD and appraisal.

Main duties of the job

The Salaried GP will provide high-quality, patient-centred care through face-to-face, telephone and online consultations. The post holder will assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe safely, review clinical results and correspondence, and make appropriate referrals. The role includes participation in the Duty GP rota, collaborative working within a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to QOF, Enhanced Services, clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
