The Role - Year 4 Class Teacher (Key Stage
2)
The successful teacher will take responsibility for a well-behaved and enthusiastic Year 4 class, delivering consistently high-quality teaching and maintaining strong routines. The school values teachers who bring energy, clarity, and purpose to their lessons, and who build strong relationships with pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead a Year 4 class with effective teaching and learning across Upper Key Stage 2

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and support pupils of all abilities

* Uphold strong behaviour expectations and ensure a calm, focused classroom environment

* Work alongside the parallel Year 4 teacher to plan, assess, and share effective practice

* Communicate positively with parents and contribute fully to wider school life

About You:

* Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2 / Year 4 (strongly preferred)

* Confident with classroom management and fostering a purposeful learning atmosphere

* Enthusiastic, caring, and committed to helping pupils progress academically and personally

* Enjoys working in a team-driven environment with shared planning

* Confident ECTs with excellent behaviour management will also be considered
