• Develop and deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that capture the curiosity and creativity of Year 1 students.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure an inclusive and differentiated learning experience.
• Encourage independent thinking, problem-solving, and a growth mindset among students.
• Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that celebrates diversity and respects individuality.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and incorporate arts, music, and other creative elements into lessons.
• Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and encouraging their involvement in their child’s learning journey.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A genuine passion for working with young learners and a strong commitment to their holistic development.
• Proven ability to deliver inspiring and creative lessons that engage and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum and an understanding of the developmental needs of young children.
• Ability to incorporate various teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Experience or interest in utilizing creative arts, drama, or music in the classroom is highly desirable.
