The Role – SEMH Teaching Assistant

You must be a caring resilient and motivated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a primary school setting. You will work closely with the class teachers to support learning, manage behaviour and help pupils develop emotional regulation and social skills. You will provide 1:1 and small group support of mixed SEMH pupils aged 7 to 18 fostering a safe, nurturing environment building pupil’s independence.

This SEMH school is looking for a KS2 SEMH Teaching Assistant, found in the London borough of Bromley, this school caters for KS1 to 5 students aged 7 to 18 with SEMH needs. The school has a focus on providing students the ability to specialise in vocational subject areas, allowing them to grow into purposeful young adults. In 2024 this SEMH school was deemed to be Good in all areas by Ofsted hoping to improve to achieve Outstanding.
