Are you looking for a new teaching role for January? Or looking for more flexible hours?

We are working with an SEMH provision in North Finchley that is looking for a part-time Maths/PE Teacher to join their team from January. This role involves teaching a small Year 7/8 group working at a primary level, with a strong focus on building confidence, engagement and positive routines. This provision offers tailored education for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.

With small class sizes, a therapeutic approach and a strong focus on building trust and consistency, the setting provides a calm, nurturing environment where pupils can re-engage with learning at a pace that suits them

Role Details:

Position:
Maths/PE Teacher (Year 7/8 class taught at primary level)

Working Pattern: 3 days per week

Start Date:

January 2026

Location:

North Finchley, N8 – just a 5-minute walk from Woodside Park station (parking available on site)

Hours:

9:00am to 3:00pm (pupils on site from 9:30am–2:30pm)

Class Size:
Very small groups (2–3 pupils per class)

Pay: £200 per day, PAYE, paid weekly
