Position: Get into Teaching - Graduate Teaching Assistant (Temporary)
St John's Wood, North West London

Salary: £95-£117 per day (PAYE, increased rate after 12 weeks)

8.30am-3.30pm (optional paid Breakfast Club available)

About the role:

SANZA Teaching Agency is supporting a vibrant, forward-thinking primary school in St John's Wood who are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate considering a career in teaching and looking to gain valuable classroom experience before applying for a PGCE or teacher training programme.

You will work across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6), supporting class teachers, leading small group interventions and helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

The role:

Support pupils across KS2 in 1:1 sessions and small groups
Assist with lesson delivery, group activities and targeted interventions
Help create and deliver engaging, practical lessons
Support pupils with additional learning needs or emotional regulation
Contribute to positive behaviour, classroom organisation and routines
Take part in school trips, clubs and wider school events
Full-time, term-time only, starting ASAPThe ideal candidate:

Recent graduate in any subject (e.g., English, Psychology, Drama, Education, Sports)
Passionate about education and exploring a future teaching career
Confident, proactive and committed to supporting primary-aged pupils
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
