Freelance RYA Instructors – Sailing, Powerboating & Wingfoiling and Hampton, Nor

We’re looking for Freelance RYA Instructors in sailing, power boating, and wingfoiling to join our team across London and Surrey. This flexible role offers regular opportunities to deliver courses, youth sessions, and group activities, with work to suit your availability.

• Strong instructional skills in your discipline(s)
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
• Able to adapt sessions to different ages and abilities
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive

• Deliver RYA courses in sailing, power boating, or wingfoiling (depending on qualifications)
• Support group sessions, schools, and corporate events as required
• Represent Keep Sailing positively with customers and partners

• Previous experience teaching in RYA centres or equivalent environments
• Comfortable delivering sessions for adults, youth, and groups
• Experience working as part of a team of instructors
• New instructors will be supported to develop

Essential (at least one of the following):

• RYA Dinghy Instructor or Senior Instructor
• RYA Powerboat Instructor
• RYA Wing Surfing / Wing Foiling Instructor
• RYA Racing Instructor
• SUP Instructor

We are always looking for freelance instructors to join our team across our West London centres. Whether your passion is sailing, power boating, or wingfoiling, we have regular opportunities to deliver RYA courses, youth sessions, and group activities.

This is a flexible freelance role where you can pick up work to suit your availability. You’ll be part of a supportive team in a growing organisation, with opportunities to get involved in exciting new projects and events.

Keep Sailing is a fast-growing, not-for-profit watersports organisation with centres in Hampton, North London, Surbiton, and Wraysbury. We deliver a wide range of RYA courses in dinghy sailing, power boating, wing sports, and paddle boarding, alongside youth programmes, group activities with schools, corporate events, and instructor training.
