Special Needs Specialist Long-term, temporary and ongoing from January 2026

• Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEND
• Plan and adapt resources to support individual learning requirements
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and staff
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND needs
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to differentiate lessons and engage learners effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
