Music Teacher. Education & Training

Academics are seeking a creative, passionate and resilient Music Teacher to join a specialist provision supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic educator who loves using music to inspire and engage young people.

• Teach Music across Key Stages 3-4 within a supportive SEMH environment
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons tailored to pupils' needs
• Use music to develop confidence, emotional expression and self-regulation
• Build positive relationships and support students' academic and personal development
• Work alongside talented SEN, pastoral and therapeutic teams
• Contribute to a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment

• Highly regarded SEMH provision with a strong, nurturing ethos
• Small class sizes and personalised learning pathways
• Focus on emotional well‑being and supporting pupils holistically
• Collaborative staff culture and excellent behaviour support systems

• QTS/QTLS preferred, but strong unqualified Music Teachers considered
• Experience with SEMH, SEN or challenging behaviour is highly desirable
• Calm, patient and resilient
• Able to differentiate and adapt teaching for varied learning needs
• Strong behaviour management skills
