Person Specification:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
Dedicated, professional, and demonstrates strong classroom practice across the primary phase
Holds a relevant teaching qualification and is an effective and reflective practitioner
Able to motivate, inspire, and engage pupils of varying abilities
Passionate about primary education and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Committed to ongoing professional development and contributing to whole-school improvement
Experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and delivering high-quality lessons
Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to inform planning and next steps
Contribute positively to team planning and collaborative working
Support whole-school initiatives and uphold the school’s values and expectations
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Promote enrichment opportunities that enhance learning and personal development
