The Role – Maths TA

Seeking a dedicated Maths TA to support pupils aged 7–18 in a specialist SEMH setting. In this role, you will work closely with class teachers to deliver maths lessons, providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils access learning and make progress at their own pace. You will assist in adapting maths activities to meet individual needs, reinforce key numeracy skills, and help pupils manage emotions and behaviour during learning.

The role includes tracking progress and helping to create a calm, structured and encouraging classroom environment where all learners can succeed.

The School – Maths TA

This SEMH school is found in the London borough of Bromley. This school caters for KS1 to 5 students aged 7 to 18 with SEMH needs. The school has a focus on providing students the ability to specialise in vocational subject areas, allowing them to grow into purposeful young adults. In 2024 this SEMH school was deemed to be ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted hoping to improve to achieve ‘Outstanding’.
