Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) – Day-to-Day Cover
Location:
SE5
Setting:
All-girls secondary school
We’re looking for a calm, capable Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 classroom support on a day-to-day supply basis in a welcoming all-girls secondary setting.
This role is ideal if you enjoy building rapport, supporting learning in real time, and making a visible difference without taking work home.
The role:
1:1 support for a student in class
Supporting engagement, focus, and emotional regulation
Working closely with teaching staff and SEN teams
Moving between lessons as required
You’ll need:
Experience supporting children or young people (school, SEN, youth work, childcare, etc.)
Patience, emotional intelligence, and confidence
Ability to follow behaviour and safeguarding policies
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
