Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent to recruit a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This pivotal role offers the opportunity to support learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, deliver planned lessons, and provide targeted interventions to help all pupils make strong progress.

About the Role
As an HLTA you will play a key role in supporting the school's teaching and learning across multiple year groups. Your day-to-day will include:

Delivering high quality PPA cover lessons using teacher planning and school schemes of work.
Supporting whole class learning with confidence and strong behaviour management.
Leading small group and intervention work in English, maths, and wellbeing programmes.
Adapting resources and scaffolding tasks to support pupils with additional needs.
Working collaboratively with class teachers, SENCo and senior leaders to ensure continuity of learning.
Modelling excellent practice and contributing to a positive learning culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience working as an HLTA, Senior TA or highly skilled Teaching Assistant.
Skilled in delivering lessons and supporting learning across KS1 and KS2.
Strong behaviour management with a calm, consistent approach.
Secure subject knowledge in core curriculum areas and an ability to differentiate support.
A proactive team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Professional, adaptable, and able to build rapport with pupils and staff alike.
