SEN tutor; Temporary

Position: SEN tutor (Temporary)
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects (Maths, English, Science, etc.)

Create and implement lesson plans that cater to each student's specific needs and abilities

Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary

Offer constructive feedback to students and, where applicable, their parents or guardians

Foster a supportive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment

Promote student independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

Proven experience as a tutor or in a similar teaching role (a teaching qualification is preferred, but not essential)

Strong understanding of the subject(s) you wish to tutor

Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner

Passion for teaching and helping students succeed

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Enhanced DBS check (Prospero Teaching can assist with this process)

Availability to tutor during evenings or weekends (hours can be flexible)
