Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Temporary)
1:1 Teaching Assistant – Southwark – Year 5 (ASD) – ASAP Start – £90–£110 Per Day – Part-Time 8:30am-12pm 5 days a week

* 1:1 Teaching Assistant required in Southwark

* 1:1 Teaching Assistant required to support a Year 5 pupil with ASD

* 1:1 Teaching Assistant required for an ASAP start

* Experience supporting children with ASD is essential

The Role – 1:1 Teaching Assistant
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a Year 5 boy with ASD, providing tailored support throughout the school day. You will help him access the curriculum, stay engaged in learning, and develop his social and emotional skills. The role includes supporting learning tasks, implementing strategies set out in the pupil’s support plan, encouraging positive behaviour, and helping him build independence and confidence.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure consistent and effective support in and out of the classroom.
