A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This Cover Supervisor position can be part or full time and be short term in the first instance.

If appointed as a Cover Supervisor, your duties will include but not be limited to:

Covering different lessons in the absence of class teachers
Managing pupil behaviour effectively and promote positive behaviour
Engaging with pupils in classes and ensure the schools behaviour policies
Holding good understanding of ICT and how to carry out basic administrative tasks
Demonstrating a positive attitude and adapt to different situations effectively

The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £82.14 to £130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.

It is a mixed,, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.

The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.

Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.

Requirements

You will be considered if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Cover Supervisor:

Right to work in the UK
Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent

Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools
