Spencer Clarke Education have partnered with an award winning school based in Eltham. The school are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students with a range of learning disabilities including SEMH, communication needs and behavioural needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing, well-resourced setting that offers excellent support and training for staff committed to inclusive education.

The Role:

Support students of all age groups (from 6-12)
Assist with daily routines, learning activities, personal care, and mobility needs
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
Use non-verbal communication strategies
Promote a safe, structured and caring environment for learning and development

Requirements:

Experience in SEND, care, or educational settings
Comfortable with personal care and high-needs support
Patient, kind-natured and physically fit for a hands-on role
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
