You'll be working across areas including Edmonton, Southgate, Palmers Green, Enfield Town, Ponders End, Winchmore Hill, and Cockfosters-all with excellent transport links.

The Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work flexibly across primary year groups (EYFS to Year
6), supporting pupils with a variety of needs including ASD and Speech & Language difficulties. You'll deliver 1:1 or small group interventions, helping children feel confident, supported, and ready to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 or small group support for children with ASD, Speech & Language needs, and other SEND
Use visual aids, communication tools, and structured routines to support learning
Help pupils develop social skills, emotional regulation, and independence
Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to plan and deliver effective interventions
Create a calm, positive environment where children feel safe and valued
Monitor progress and celebrate every achievement, no matter how small

What We're Looking For:

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
Willingness to work across different year groups and school settings
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Experience with SEN is a bonus, but not essential-enthusiasm and commitment matter most
