Empowering Learning are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in White City.

About the Role:

Full-time, long-term position - Monday to Friday, term-time only

Hours:

8:15am - 4:00pm

Supporting students both academically and emotionally in a small class setting (around 10 students)
Working closely with teachers and the wider school team to manage challenging behaviour positively
Acting as a positive role model, helping students develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills
Strong leadership support and opportunities for career progression - the school is committed to supporting staff in obtaining a teaching qualification

What We're Looking For:

Patience, resilience, and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A kind but firm approach to support students in their learning and personal development
Ability to motivate and engage students with SEMH needs
Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
