French and Spanish Teacher (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to teach French and Spanish through the school, who will be willing to make a wider contribution to the life of this ambitious, busy and exciting school.

The role is a fixed-term, maternity cover appointment from mid-April 2026 to approximately December 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching French and Spanish to pupils aged 2-13.
• Developing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Providing clear assessment and feedback to support pupil progress.
• Maintaining a warm, inclusive and motivating classroom environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support pupil development.
• Contributing to school life beyond the classroom.

Qualifications and experience:

• Passion for teaching languages and a strong commitment to student well‑being.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and build strong rapport with pupils, colleagues and parents.
• Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to obtain necessary subject and teacher status qualifications.
