This full-time, permanent Health and Social Care Teacher position (paid on the MPS/UPS scale) involves:

• Delivering engaging and practical lessons in Health and Social Care
  , primarily to Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students.
• Covering a range of topics, including health and well-being, social care provision, communication skills, and ethical considerations.
• Preparing students for BTEC and/or other vocational qualifications in Health and Social Care

• Developing students' practical skills and understanding of real-world care settings.

The ideal Health and Social Care Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Health and Social Care
  , Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary level, preferably including BTEC.
• Ideally, some practical experience working in a health or social care setting (desirable, but not always essential).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
