Speech and Language Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete statutory paediatric communication assessments for EHCNAs.

* Provide timely, clear, and measurable EHCP advice.

* Liaise with schools, families, BCIT and LA professionals.

* Contribute to annual reviews where required.

* Maintain accurate clinical notes and comply with safeguarding standards.

Requirements:

* BSc/MSc in Speech and Language Therapy.

* HCPC registration (essential).

* Minimum 2 years' paediatric SLT experience.

* Experience supporting children with SEND and contributing to EHCPs.

* Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills.

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

* Professional indemnity & public liability insurance.

Desirable:

* RCSLT membership.

* Experience in early years, mainstream or specialist education settings.

* Knowledge of autism, speech sound disorders, AAC or language disorder.

* Experience delivering training to schools or families.

Additional Information:

* Consultancy position with flexible working.

* Travel to local schools/settings may be required.

* All safeguarding and vetting checks must be completed prior to starting.
