The Role – RE Teacher
A mixed, mainstream secondary academy in the London Borough of Hillingdon, rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026.
The school serves a diverse local community and prides itself on fostering respect, tolerance, and academic curiosity. Religious Education is valued as a core subject within the curriculum, encouraging students to explore ethics, philosophy, and world religions in a balanced and engaging way.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality RE lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience. The Humanities department is collaborative and well supported by leadership, with shared resources and a strong focus on professional development.
The school
- The school is seeking a teacher with strong classroom management, high expectations of students, and the ability to create a respectful and reflective learning environment. ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, and the academy offers a comprehensive induction programme alongside ongoing CPD.
