We work in partnership with schools to ensure continuity of learning when teachers are absent, providing confident and professional Cover Supervisors who can step into the classroom and maintain high standards.

The Role
We are seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary school settings. This role involves supervising classes during teacher absence, delivering pre-set work, and maintaining a focused, positive learning environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or develop a career within education.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes in the absence of the class teacher

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure pupils remain on task

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Maintain a safe, calm, and productive learning environment

• Respond appropriately to pupil questions and classroom needs

• Support pupils with their work and engagement during lessons

• Follow school safeguarding and health and safety procedures

• Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson outcomes and behaviour

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting

• Strong classroom presence and confidence managing behaviour

• Clear communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional, reliable, and adaptable approach

• Ability to follow lesson plans and school procedures

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
