Apprenticeship Trainer

Job Title: Apprenticeship Trainer (Part-Time, Temporary)
Location: East London
Pay Rate: £40 per hour
Contract Type: Part-time, Temporary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Apprenticeship Trainer to join a further education college in East London. This is a part-time, temporary role, ideal for a skilled professional passionate about supporting apprentices to achieve their full potential.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, coaching, and assessment to apprentices, ensuring they meet their programme requirements and progress successfully through their apprenticeship.

• Deliver engaging apprenticeship training sessions (online and/or face-to-face)
• Support apprentices through coaching, mentoring, and progress reviews
• Assess apprentice work in line with awarding body and funding requirements
• Track learner progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Liaise with employers to support apprentice development in the workplace
• Ensure compliance with ESFA and college quality standards

• Proven experience delivering or assessing apprenticeship programmes
• Relevant vocational qualification and/or sector experience
• Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA, A1, CAVA) or willingness to work towards one
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience working within further education or work-based learning (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
