Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; BJJ Coach

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) Coach to join our professional coaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality BJJ instruction to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors, while maintaining a safe, structured, and motivating training environment.

• Conduct structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for adults and youth, including gi and no-gi programs

• Develop and implement progressive training program tailored to different experience levels

• Provide technical instruction, live drilling, and supervised sparring sessions

• Monitor student progress and provide individual coaching feedback

• Prepare athletes for competitions

• Ensure all training sessions adhere to gym safety policies and best practices

• Assist with gym events, seminars, and promotional activities when required

• Maintain a clean training environment for members

• Recognised Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt

• Minimum 5 years of coaching and/or competitive BJJ experience

• Strong technical knowledge of gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

• Ability to teach students of varying ages, fitness levels, and experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work at noon and evenings on weekdays and on Saturday mornings

• Competition coaching experience

• Experience working with youth and beginners

• Relevant coaching certifications or sports education background
