GSL Education London Branch are looking for an experienced Computer Science Teacher to work at a welcoming and forward-thinking coeducational secondary school in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Computer Science Teacher who is keen to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages. The school is well-resourced, supportive, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will play a key role in developing students  digital skills and confidence. This role is ideal for a motivated Computer Science Teacher who can start immediately and make a positive impact. If you are an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher looking for a short-term role with excellent daily rates, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is desirable but not essential)
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to support different learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with other staff and departments
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Computer Science Teacher in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science
  • Good classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Right to work in the UK
