Youth Support Worker Trainer
Salary: £40,000,

We are seeking an experienced Youth Work professional with an assessor qualification to lead and deliver Level 3 Youth Work provision. This role is suited to a credible practitioner who combines frontline Youth Work experience with vocational assessment expertise and is confident supporting and guiding another trainer.

About the Job
As a Youth Support Worker Trainer (Level 3 Apprenticeships), you’ll deliver engaging, high-quality apprenticeship training to learners across the North of England (Manchester, Leeds and surrounding areas).
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering and assessing Level 3 Youth Work qualifications
* Conducting workplace observations and reviewing learner portfolios
* Monitoring learner progress and achievement
* Leading standardisation activities and driving quality improvement
* Line managing and supporting another trainer
* Ensuring safeguarding and compliance standards are maintained
* This is a hands-on leadership role with accountability for both delivery and programme standards.
Ideal Candidate
* Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1 or equivalent) - Experience delivering and assessing regulated qualifications
* A degree in a related field such as Community Development or Social Work with strong youth work experience or A JNC-recognised Youth Work qualification (Level 3 Diploma or Degree)
* Occupational competence within Youth Work.
* Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising staff.
* Strong communication and digital skills for online delivery.
* Contributing to curriculum development and quality assurance activities.
