Overview
The School of Workforce Development at South Thames College is seeking a dedicated Sessional Lecturer/Assessor to deliver high‑quality training, assessment, tutoring and mentoring, and where appropriate, internal verification.
Responsibilities- Deliver Security courses, with expertise in Conflict Management, Physical Intervention, CCTV and Level 2 Spectator Safety.
- Experience and qualifications in IQAs and the ability to deliver Level 3 Spectator Safety courses would be an advantage.
- Produce high‑quality teaching resources and maintain learning records.
- Support and tutor learners throughout the qualification, facilitating assessment and support delivery.
- Level 3 or higher qualification in the relevant sector.
- Relevant teaching qualification.
- Relevant assessor qualification.
- Proven track record in delivering qualifications and training.
- Organised, proactive, effective communication skills and IT proficiency (MS Office, online tracking systems, registration processes).
This role is based at the Tooting Campus, but may include delivery across the group sites, off‑site classrooms and working outside normal working hours.
