Job Title: Design & Food Tech Teacher;
Location: Baston House School, Bromley, Kent BR2 7AB
; Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum, dependent on experience (not pro rata);
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am – 4.30pm;
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only;
Start: December 2025;

Baston House School is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Design & Food Technology Teacher to join our vibrant, supportive team. This is your chance to make a real difference by helping pupils develop practical skills, confidence, and a love of learning.
What You’ll Be Doing- Deliver practical, engaging, and inspiring lessons that bring Design & Food Technology to life
- Develop creative resources and activities tailored to pupils’ individual needs
- Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to enhance learning
- Participate in ongoing professional development and share ideas within the team
- Promote Baston House as a hub of creativity, professionalism, and care
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching autistic or SEN pupils (highly desirable)
- Creative, adaptable, and passionate about inspiring young people
