Job DescriptionOverall Purpose of the Role:
The alert room supervisor will receive students that are both internally suspended and sent out of lessons day to day. The post holder will run a calm and orderly environment that supports the students to complete work set and prepare for the return to the classroom. They will insist on high standards of behaviour and support the students to regulate and manage their behaviour and follow the expectations of learning.
They will liaise with Teachers, Behaviour Leads, Parents, and the Assistant Principal for Behaviour and Culture.

- GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
- Basic First Aid or willingness to undertake it.
- Understanding of what it means to work in a school environment and the challenges that learners face that impact how they respond to adults.
