About Children First Academy Trust

Children First Academy Trust was established in April 2019 and currently comprises seven local primary schools, all working collaboratively to raise aspirations and improve outcomes for children across Enfield.

All seven schools are graded Good or Outstanding by Ofsted, placing the Trust in a strong position to deliver high-quality education for all pupils.

As an employer, we are deeply committed to our staff and actively promote professional development and long-term career progression. Being part of Children First Academy Trust offers exciting opportunities for leadership growth and collaboration across our schools.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious leader seeking their next challenge. The post involves executive leadership across Brettenham and Fleece field Primary Schools
, both located in Enfield and serving communities with high levels of deprivation, where the majority of pupils speak English as an additional language.

The two schools are situated within close proximity (approximately 30 metres apart), making this executive role both practical and impactful.

We are seeking a leader who can build on the excellent work of our current Executive Headteacher by:

• Developing and delivering a clear, shared vision across both schools

• Strengthening collaboration and shared practice

• Maximising efficiencies through shared resources

• Ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and pupil outcomes

We Offer

Supportive senior leadership that values staff wellbeing and promotes a healthy work-life balance

A collaborative and welcoming team culture

Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions

An employee benefits package, including a cycle-to-work scheme

Employee Assistance Programme

Strong commitment to professional development and leadership growth

Application packs are available from Marion Green at the email above.

Please note:

CVs and incomplete applications will not be accepted.

The Trust reserves the right to interview suitable candidates before the closing date.

Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities

Children First Academy Trust is committed to creating an inclusive environment, promoting equality, and valuing diversity.

We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check, social media screening, and, where applicable, an overseas criminal record check.
