Overview
AD Education UK is seeking hourly paid lecturers to deliver on the Audio Production programmes. We are building a pool of industry practitioners and educators who can demonstrate current experience and a commitment to supporting the development of creative professionals. Candidates should have excellent technical knowledge and an ability to engage and connect with students across all undergraduate levels. A degree in a relevant discipline is expected.
Teaching and/or postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not essential.
We are seeking to hire a team of hourly paid lecturers to deliver on the Audio Production programmes. You will have a credible professional/industry profile, evidence of high-quality teaching practice, and experience in the delivery of further or higher education programmes.
Qualifications and Requirements- Experience of Pro Tools for editing and recording
- Experience creating electronic music with Ableton Live (including instrumentation and arrangement)
- Knowledge of microphones and loudspeakers
- Understanding of acoustics including basic maths (e.g. decibels, logarithms)
- Studio signal flow and routing knowledge
- Experience with live sound
- Experience with recording and mixing
Note:
For all applicants, a degree in a relevant discipline is expected. Teaching and/or postgraduate qualifications are desirable but not essential.
